First consultation

The first consultation with your Plastic Surgeon is of paramount importance and cannot be replaced with some written information. It is during this contact that the very important relationship of mutual trust and confidence is established. This is why we take our time with each patient to better understand your needs and expectations. Whether you are a local patient or you travel a great distance to see us, we strive to build a long term relationship with all our patients, beginning with the initial consultation.

Your problem and your requests are analyzed and the advantages as well as possible disadvantages of an envisaged operation are discussed. The understanding of these information's will then allow you to make a sound decision.

If need be, you are welcome back for a second consultation free of charge. This will allow you to clear any doubts or answer any questions that might have arisen and obtain additional information.

Once the indication has been established, we explain all the details of the operation, expectations and possible complications.

Even when performed by the best hands, all surgery bears inherent complication potential. Unfavorable results and complications are rare, those that can occur are:

• Haematoma
• Infection
• Skin slough
• Hypertrophic scarring (keloid)
• Thrombosis with emboli

Paired body regions (face, ears, breasts etc.) are never symmetrical and can rarely made to be it!.
